Valtrex is often co-administered with antacids, cimetidine, probenicid, digoxin or thiazide diuretics in patients without other existing conditions.
Considerations

Valtrex is typically not recommended by doctors for people with compromised immune systems, elderly populations, populations at risk for renal failure, nursing and pregnant women, and individuals who have recently had organ transplants.
