Capsules are light blue on one end and white with stripes on the other end. The word "Adipex-P" is imprinted on both tablets and capsules.

      Distinguish Ionamin as a slow-release, resin-based phentermine pill. Ionamin, made by Medeva Pharmaceuticals, is available in 15mg gray and yellow capsules or in 30mg dark yellow capsules. Both forms have "Ionamin" imprinted on them.

      Recognize Duromine by 3M, a leading brand sold in Australia. Duromine capsules are available in 15mg green and gray, 30mg maroon and gray and 40mg orange and gray. "Duromine" is imprinted on all the capsules.

      Know that generic phentermine capsules are medicinally equivalent to brand name pills. Generic capsules from Sandoz Labs are available in 15mg and 30mg strengths, and may be blue and clear, yellow and gray, or solid yellow.
