Food Interactions

Milk or yogurt may decrease the absorption of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride if these foods are consumed less than six hours before taking the drug or less than two hours after taking this medication.
Precautions

Users of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride should be careful when driving or operating dangerous machinery due to the possibility of dizziness or light-headedness from taking the drug.
Warnings

Patients should complete the entire course of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride as prescribed by a doctor (See Reference 1). Bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics if the prescribed course of treatment is not completed.
