Examine the bathroom and laundry solutions. Check to see if any of them changed recently. This may the reason for the itching and rash. If anything has changed, switch it back to the original product. Check foods and beverages in the kitchen to consider a possible food allergy.
Products such as oatmeal, lemon juice, coconut oil, almond leaves and papaya seeds effectively heal and lower the discomfort level of itching and rash. Olive oil, aloe and chamomile tea also contain healing properties for the rash. Have a mortar and pestle handy for the ease of grinding seeds or herbs. Obtain a pair of fingernail clippers and cotton gloves or socks. The fingernail clippers shorten the nails and the gloves or socks provide protection from fingernails while you sleep.
Soothe and Heal

Pour a cup or two of uncooked oatmeal into a tub of lukewarm water. Hot water will irritate the skin. Soak in the water for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, completely covering the rash. This soothes the itch. Mix lemon juice and coconut oil together to provide instant relief to the skin. Crush papaya seeds with the mortar and pestle to create a paste that you apply directly to the irritated skin. Crush the almond leaves and apply the oil directly to the affected area. The almond extract soothes the itch.
Rub olive oil directly onto the skin. It nourishes the skin and encourages healing. Slice and apply the aloe directly from the plant. Aloe contains soothing and healing properties. Boil chamomile tea, allow to cool and apply to the rash with a sponge. Drink chamomile tea and other citrus products to promote healing from within.
Shorten fingernail length with the clippers, preventing long fingernails from doing any more damage when scratching. Round fingernails off with a fingernail file for added prevention. At night, cover hands with gloves or socks. You still scratch while you sleep, so this protects you from breaking the skin if you try to scratch while sleeping.
