1
Mash one-half of an avocado with one banana, 2 tsp. of honey and 1 tsp. of vinegar. This should leave you with a thick liquid product. Avocado and banana are nutrient-rich products. Honey is a natural anti-fungal with properties that will reduce redness, promote healing and relieve itching. Vinegar works as an antiseptic additive which will help keep chicken pox bumps from getting infected.

2
Add finely ground oatmeal to the mixture 1 tsp. at a time until it forms a paste. The texture should be the same as a thick conditioner that will stay where it is placed but isn't dry and crusty. If you add too much oatmeal you can counter that with a little more vinegar or honey. Oatmeal is a common nutrient-rich ingredient that prevents itching and irritation.

3
Wet the scalp and hair with warm water, towel dry.

4
Comb the hair gently to avoid scraping the chicken pox, and part in 1-inch sections. Apply the paste to the scalp along each part.

Continue to apply until the entire scalp has been covered with the paste. Apply the remaining paste to the head and work through the hair. Use your fingers to massage the paste into the scalp and hair for about five minutes.

6
Cover the hair with a plastic bag and secure it with a hair clip, then wrap a towel around the head. Let the paste sit for about an hour before uncovering and rinsing with warm water.
