How to Take Garlic for Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a disease of the immune system that is usually characterized by a thick, red rash with scaly patches. It is often associated with other conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and depression. Psoriasis develops when the immune system sends out wrong messages that speed up the development of skin cells. According to the National Psoriasis Foundation, as many as 7.5 million Americans are affected by the disease. Research has suggested that taking garlic medicinally can help treat and lessen the symptoms of psoriasis.
