How to Adjust the ResMed AutoSet Respond
ResMed AutoSet is a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine that allows users to set the machine so that it begins as soon as the attached face mask is fitted on. Turning on the air-generation setting, referred to by the manufacturer as "SmartStart," makes the AutoSet respond automatically to the lack of air circulating around the mask's air tube. To access this feature, however, users must communicate this desire to their physicians. As a prescribed device, physicians are the only people allowed to make Autoset's SmartStart respond a functional option.Instructions
