How to Use a ResMed S9 With Oximeter
Continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, is a therapy that is often prescribed to individuals who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea and other respiratory disorders. The CPAP machine delivers constant air pressure via a mask worn over the face that acts as a splint to keep the airway open. A pulse oximeter is a medical device that uses an LED light to measure the concentration of oxygen within the blood. Results are displayed as a percentage with a normal reading being between 95 and 100. The ResMed S9 series of machines has many accessories, including pulse oximeter, available to monitor therapy efficacy.Things You'll Need
- S9 oximeter adapter
