Instructions for PARI & MiniMate Nebulizers
For people suffering from asthma, lung or bronchial diseases and allergies, difficulty in breathing is both uncomfortable and a potentially dangerous situation. Ease the unpleasant symptoms by using a nebulizer. This is a device that converts medication into a fine mist that is then inhaled, either through a mouthpiece or a mask. This method of treatment is suitable for all ages and can be completed at home. PARI and MultiMate are two common models. Knowing how to operate the device properly is key to successful treatment and the alleviation of your breathing difficulties.Instructions

1
Disconnect the nebulizer from the compressor and separate all the parts of the nebulizer. Wash the parts, but not the tubing, in warm, soapy water. Rinse it well and allow everything to dry naturally in the air. Reassemble the nebulizer.
-
2
Place the compressor on a flat surface and connect the tubing to the air outlet on the compressor.
-
3
Remove the nebulizer insert, pour the required dose of medication into the cup at the bottom of the unit. Replace the insert, ensuring the guide rings are aligned.
-
4
Attach the mouthpiece or mask to the nebulizer outlet and push the valve cap into place.
-
5
Connect the air tube to the bottom of the nebulizer.
-
6
Sit in a relaxed, upright position and place the mouthpiece in your mouth or face mask in position. Turn the compressor on.
-
7
Breath slowly and deeply until all the medication has been used and a spluttering sound can be heard. Turn off the compressor.
-
8
