Who or what is it named after angelman syndromes?
Angelman syndrome is named after Harry Angelman, a British paediatrician who first described the condition in 1965. Angelman noted a cluster of symptoms in several patients, including developmental delay, speech problems, seizures, and a characteristic happy demeanor. He published his findings in a paper titled "Puppet Children: A Report on Three Cases." Over time, the condition came to be known as Angelman syndrome.
