Duac Instructions

Duac is a prescription topical gel that helps treat inflammatory acne. The product uses two active ingredients, benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin for reducing acne and pimples. Visit your doctor and discuss any acne issues you may have. If your doctor recommends Duac, obtain your prescription and fill it at your local pharmacy.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain the prescription from your pharmacy. Be sure to inform your doctor or the pharmacist if you have allergies to clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide or any other skin medications. Follow any specific instructions given for allergies.

    • 2

Remove any makeup from your face. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil and pat your face dry. A harsh cleanser used with Duac may dry your skin.

    • 3

Open the tube and remove the protective cover. Squeeze a small amount of gel onto your fingertip and, avoiding the eye area, apply the Duac evenly over your face, not just the affected area.

    • 4

Apply Duac once daily in the evening. Continue consistent use of the product for two to four weeks to see significant change in your skin.
