How to Remove Gorilla Glue From Your Hands

Gorilla glue is a type of adhesive that contains small rubber particles that help the surface to which they're adhered stand up better to bumps and bangs. This strong adhesive causes surfaces to bond together with a strength similar to other types of super glue. When Gorilla glue accidentally gets on your hands, they can also become bonded together. Even if the bond from the glue is fresh, resist the temptation to pull the glue off your hand or pull your hand off whatever it is stuck to as your skin can end up being pulled off in the process. Proper removal of Gorilla glue from your hands ensures your skin remains unharmed.

Cotton swabs gently remove Gorilla glue from your skin.

Rub the cotton swab on the area of skin on your hand that has Gorilla glue stuck to it. If your hand is adhered to another surface, gently wipe the cotton swab between your hand and the other surface. Change to another cotton swab, as needed, and continue to apply nail polish remover to your skin to loosen the Gorilla glue's bond.

Wiggle your hand, as your able, to help loosen the bond between your hand and the other surface, if there is one. Apply more nail polish remover as needed, until the glue is removed from your hand or the bond is broken.
