- Washcloth
- Soap
- Bandage

Wash the needle and the area around the bump thoroughly with warm water and soap. Make sure the needle and the area are clean and dry before proceeding.

Wet a washcloth with warm water and position the cloth so that it is under or near the bump.

Pierce a small hole in the bump with the clean needle and allow the fluids to flow out of the bump. Catch all the fluids with the washcloth. You may need to squeeze gently on the sides of the bump to get all the fluids out.

Completely clean the area of the skin with warm water and soap. Put a bandage over the bump to prevent it from getting infected.
