How to Remove Weatherstrip Adhesive From Hair
The 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive is a popular bonding agent used to bond gaskets and weather stripping to metal surfaces. This adhesive can cause damage when you get it on your hair. Fortunately, this type of adhesive dries up and hardens very quickly, so removing it is not very difficult. Instead of using harsh chemicals or cutting your hair to remove the adhesive, you can apply a few simple techniques.Things You'll Need

1
Separate the section of hair affected by the adhesive with a hair clip or rubber band. Divide your hair into manageable sections to avoid the glue sticking to the unaffected hair strands.
-
2
Comb out the glue under running warm water using a fine toothed comb such as a teasing comb. Bend over the sink and slowly comb the affected hair downward to remove any loose glue bits.

3
Apply a generous amount of cooking oil to the wet hair. The oil will help turn the dried-up residual glue into clumps so you can easily remove them. Pour the oil over the affected area. Gently massage the hair with your fingers and until you feel the glue turn into clumps. Pick out the clumps of glue with your fingers. Comb your hair again and rinse well after you have removed all the glue.

4
Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Massage your hair for a few minutes to remove the oily residue. Towel dry your hair afterward.
