Use a retinoid product, such as RetinA or Tazorac, on your face pimples. These products are available by prescription, so you will need to speak to your dermatologist. The retinoid unclogs pores and exfoliates skin to eliminate the pimple. But it can irritate the skin so make sure you discuss this type of treatment in detail with your doctor.

Ask your doctor about taking an oral antibiotic to eliminate face pimples. Antibiotics kill the bacteria that causes pimples; however, doctors don't recommend using this treatment for more than a few months. The antibiotic also work wells in combination with topical benzoyl peroxide to reduce face pimples. Speak to your doctor about your concerns and whether your face pimples are severe enough for an oral antibiotic.
