I am 18 and i getting very ugly painful big pimples on my face which lasts for 3 weeks more what to do?

Tips for managing painful pimples:

1. Don't pick or pop the pimple. This can cause scarring, infection and can increase inflammation.

2. Cleanse your skin twice daily. Use a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water.

3. Apply an over-the-counter acne treatment. Look for products with ingredients such as salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or retinoids.

4. Use a warm compress. Apply a warm compress to the pimple for 10-15 minutes a few times per day to reduce pain and inflammation.

5. Avoid touching your face. Touching your face can transfer bacteria and worsen the pimple.

6. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

7. Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep can contribute to acne.

8. Eat a healthy diet. Eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support overall skin health.

9. Reduce stress. Stress can contribute to acne. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as exercise, yoga, or meditation.

If home remedies don't help:

- Visit a dermatologist. If your pimples are severe, painful, or don't get better with home treatments, see a dermatologist for professional advice and treatment. They may prescribe prescription medication, suggest additional treatments, or recommend lifestyle changes to help manage your acne.
