How to Wash Off Super Glue on the Head
The fast-bonding nature of Super Glue makes it effective for the bonding or repairing of a variety of surfaces. If, during the repair process, Super Glue ends up on your head, you will quickly find yourself in a stressful, sticky situation. Super Glue bonds to skin and hair just as effectively as it does to other surfaces. Attempts to wipe the glue off before it dries can worsen the situation. Use of the appropriate products and removal techniques will help you safely wash Super Glue off of your head.Things You'll Need

1
Dampen a washcloth with warm water. Place a few drops of soap on the wet washcloth and work the soap into a lather. Wring out the excess moisture.
-
2
Lay the soapy washcloths over the Super-Glued areas of skin on your head. Leave or hold the washcloths in place for several minutes, so the soap can help soften the glue.
-
3
Rinse the washcloths with water and wipe the soap solution from your skin. Pat dry the skin with a clean towel.
-
4
Soak cotton swabs in nail polish remover. Rub the nail polish remover over the remaining Super Glue. As the glue softens, carefully roll your fingertip back and forth over the glue, to cause it to loosen and ball up. Repeat this step, until the glue can be lifted without tearing the skin.
-
5
Purchase a Super Glue remover from the hardware store to wash the glue out of your hair. Follow package directions to soften and lift the glue.
-
6
Wash your hair with shampoo to help lift any last traces of glue and glue remover. Condition your hair to replace the moisture stripped by the glue solvent.
