How to Whiten an Armpit Naturally
Many women shave, pluck or wave their armpits in order to create a hairless appearance. Unfortunately, this process can lead to skin irritation. Many armpit treatments, such as deodorant, contain allergens and skin irritants which can lead to darker armpits. You may wish to lighten your armpits so that you no longer feel embarrassed by their dark appearance. Although there are bleaches and whitening creams available, you can whiten your armpits naturally using home remedies.Things You'll Need

1
Switch to an allergy-free deodorant and use an allergy-free shaving cream when you shave your armpits.

2
Bathe or shower on a regular basis, at least once per day. Change dirty clothing immediately and keep the armpit area of your clothing clean and dry.

3
Cut a lemon in half, crosswise, using a small knife and dig the seeds from the lemon. Lift your arm and rub the surface of the lemon along your armpit in a circular motion. Apply powdered alum to your armpits by rubbing it into your skin. Leave the mixture on until your next bath or shower.
