Ingredients of Zhongzhou Ointment

Millions of people of all ages suffer from skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and dermatitis. A study funded by the National Rosacea Society and published in The British Journal of Dermatology in 2007 reveals that these conditions may be caused or aggravated by a larger than normal presence of Demodex folliculorum mites (Demodex mites). Zhongzhou Ointment, or Zhongzhou Zinc Oxide and Sublimed Sulfur Ointment (ZOSSO), is used to treat these mites. According to Professor Zhongzhou, creator of Zhongzhou Ointment, the ointment eliminates demodex mites and germs, stops the itch and pains the mites cause and relieves inflammation.

  1. History

    • Professor Zhongzhou created Zhongzhou Ointment after working as a surgeon in China for more than 40 years. His ointment is patented in China and is used exclusively in more than 100 acne rosacea clinics there. The Zosso website lists the main ingredients as zinc oxide, sulfur sublimate, mint (herba menthae), boric acid, salicylic acid, dimethiconum composite, java brucea and two to three secret ingredients. Zhoungzhou ointment is contaminant and steroid free.

    Application

    • Apply to a clean dry face two or three times per day. Place tiny dots of the ointment around the face and gently rub in. Use for a minimum of 90 days or as directed by a physician. Avoid using cosmetics. Use Zhongzhou Ointment as a preventative to stop the spread of Demodex mites before outbreaks occur.

    Side Effects

    • The mint used in Zhongzhou may cause the eyes to water. It may also cause a cooling effect on the skin, which some find irritating. It is recommended that consumers use this product at night to prevent or relieve these symptoms. Zhongzhou also dries the skin. Use moisturizers daily to rehydrate skin.

    Precautions

    • Zhongzhou Ointment is not FDA approved. It is, however, approved and patented in China.

      Consult a physician before treating skin conditions with Zhongzhou Ointment.

      Test a small amount of Zhongzhou on skin for allergic reaction before beginning treatment.
