1
Wear smooth, breathable fabrics. When not exercising, or engaging in some other high-perspiration activity, choose loose-fitting clothing with natural fibers like cotton and linen. When working out, choose stretchy, wicking, high-tech fabrics that move with, not against, your skin. Wicking fabrics also won't hold perspiration near your skin which can aggravate friction.

2
Lubricate your inner thighs with petroleum jelly. This method works if you're prone to inner thigh chafing while wearing a skirt or dress. Apply a quarter-sized amount of jelly to your inner thighs. The jelly eliminates friction, moisturizes and soothes. Continue applying throughout the day whenever your inner thighs begin feeling tender or sore.

Dry your inner thighs and reduce friction with a liberal sprinkling of baby powder. Pour the powder into your hand and rub it into your inner thighs after getting dressed or as needed. Frequent powder applications will absorb perspiration and leave your skin feeling soft and comfortable.
