How to Use Cocoa Butter on Incisions

Scars are impossible to get rid of completely, but they can be made less visible with cocoa butter. Cocoa butter is a skin moisturizer that keeps skin soft. It also is used for the treatment of certain skin conditions including stretch marks, incisions and scars. Cocoa butter is easily and quickly absorbed into the skin, creating a protective barrier on the skin and keeping it moisturized. Creams and lotions containing cocoa butter can be applied to incisions to help reduce their appearance.
