How to Use a Drawing Salve

A drawing salve is a homeopathic remedy believed to "draw out" splinters or dry out skin problems such as boils, eczema or psoriasis. Some people make their own drawing salve from herbs and a hot compress, but you can also buy tubes of drawing salve at homeopathic or alternative drugstores. The products are thought to aid healing and reduce pain from minor cuts, skin rashes, skin eruptions or other skin irritations.
