Instructions

    • 1

Create a mixture of one quart of hydrogen peroxide, one-half cup of baking soda, and one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid in a container. Shake the container to mix all the ingredients.

    • 2

Go to the sink, if a small area of skin was sprayed. Use the shower, if a large amount of skin was sprayed.

    • 3

Apply the mixture to your skin with your fingers. Rub the mixture to create lather.

    • 4

Wait five minutes for the ingredients to work on the skunk smell. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are good at neutralizing odors. The dishwashing liquid cuts through the oil that is in the skunk's spray.

    • 5

      Wash off the mixture.

    • 6

Repeat Steps 3 to 5 -- if smell is still present. Dry off with a towel.
