How to Remove Surgical Tape Glue
If you're required to wear a surgical bandage for a long period of time, due to an injury or surgery, you can end up with surgical tape adhesive stuck on your skin once the bandage is removed. The little bits of adhesive can be annoying but also painful when your skin gets pulled or stuck on other surfaces. Remove the adhesive completely and carefully to alleviate the problem without harming your skin.Things You'll Need

1
Turn your hair dryer onto the "Low" heat setting. Hold it about 12 inches from your skin and heat long enough to warm the skin. The heat softens the surgical tape glue so it's easier to remove.
-
2
Wet a cotton ball with baby oil. Rub the baby oil into the warmed area. Leave the baby oil on the surface of your skin for a few minutes.
-
3
Wipe the adhesive off your skin with a clean cotton ball. Dampen another cotton ball with nail polish remover. Gently scrub off the remaining tape adhesive with the nail polish remover.
-
4
Wash your skin with soap and warm water. Rub your skin gently with the washcloth to remove any last traces of glue. Dry your skin by patting it with a clean towel.
