Why do you sleep with your arms over head?

It is not recommended or common practice to sleep with your arms over your head. Doing so can strain the muscles and ligaments of the neck, shoulders, and arms, potentially leading to pain, discomfort, and stiffness in these areas. Additionally, sleeping with your arms overhead may restrict blood flow and circulation, leading to tingling or numbness in the arms and hands.

For a healthy and comfortable sleep posture, it is generally recommended to sleep on your back or side with your arms relaxed at your sides or loosely bent in front of you. This allows your muscles and joints to fully rest and minimizes strain on the neck and shoulders.
