How to Change REMstar Pressure
Sleep apnea is a condition in which the muscles and tissues of the throat relax while you are sleeping and air cannot get into your lungs. The condition produces a chronic lack of oxygen in the blood, as well as restless sleep patterns where you continually wake up short of breath. Doctors usually give patients diagnosed with sleep apnea a prescription for a continuous positive airway pressure machine to use during sleep. You can obtain a CPAP machine online once you have a prescription. The machine comes preset for your particular air pressure needs. The REMstar is a high-end CPAP machine that Respironics manufactures. The machine retails for around $600 as of 2011.Things You'll Need
