  1. Custom Fitting Your Mouthpiece

    • 1

Assemble the two parts of the PureSleep mouthpiece according to the product's directions. If you have a typical bite, with top teeth overlapping the bottom, you will use the two holes that are closest to the front of the mouth guard. If your teeth meet or if the bottom extends farther than the top, you can use the advanced setting, with the two center holes. The third option is the custom setting, using the back holes, but use this only if your dentist tells you to.

    • 2

Prepare to fit the mouth guard by brushing your teeth to ensure a good fitting. Remove partial dentures as well.

    • 3

Heat water to boiling and carefully drop in the mouthpiece. Time for one minute, and remove it with a slotted spoon or other kitchen utensil so you don't burn your hand.

    • 4

Let the PureSleep mouthpiece cool at least 10 seconds, but do not wait longer than 12 seconds or the plastic will harden. Shake out any water that could harm your mouth. Place the device on the teeth, biting down hard for 30 seconds, with your lower jaw forward. This jaw position keeps airways open and stops snoring.

    • 5

Remove the mouthpiece and hold it under cool, running water to set the indention from your teeth.

    • 6

When the PureSleep mouthpiece is completely cool, make sure it fits your teeth well. If not, you can place it back in boiling water for another minute and repeat the fitting steps.
