How do I Adjust a Remstar 1005960 CPAP?
The Respironics Remstar Plus 1005960 CPAP is an electronic medical device used in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This form of apnea, or breathing cessation, is caused by a collapse of the soft tissue in an individual's airway during sleep. By applying a continuous air pressure, the CPAP device holds the patient's airway open, preventing its collapse. The amount of pressure required is determined by a licensed physician through a sleep study. Should you find yourself in need of setting or adjusting this pressure yourself, however, there is a procedure to allow you to do just that.Instructions
