How to Make CPAP Cover
Many people that suffer from sleep apnea require the use of a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine in order to experience relief of their symptoms and a restful night of sleep. Condensation can accumulate in the tubing of the CPAP machine. A cover, which can be made at home by following a few simple steps, can decrease or eliminate the condensation in the tubes of the machine.Things You'll Need
- CPAP machine
- 3 to 5 rubber bands
- Bath towel

1
Gather your CPAP tubing, rubber bands and bath towel. Place all of these items on a flat surface.
-
2
Lay the bath towel out flat. Position the CPAP tubing next to the edge on the bath towel so that both the towel and the CPAP tubing are horizontal to you.
-
3
Roll the bath towel around the tubing in the same fashion as you would roll up a rug.
-
4
Wrap a rubber band around the end of the wrapped up CPAP tube that is furthest away from you. Twist the rubber band to achieve a snug fit.
-
5
Repeat Step 4 on the end of the tubing closest to you. Wrap another rubber band around the middle of the wrapped up CPAP tube. Wrap one to two more rubber bands around the wrapped up CPAP tube if you believe that the bath towel needs extra support to stay in place.
