How to Change a REMstar Auto C-Flex Ramp Setting
Continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, is a treatment for sleep apnea, which occurs when breathing pauses or becomes shallow during sleep. It is said to have a 100 percent success rate, and it enables many people to enjoy a full night of undisturbed sleep. While CPAP is very effective, some people find it difficult to adjust to the increased air pressure. The REMstar C-Flex is a machine that is designed to self-adjust to meet the minimum amount of pressure required. However, to enable you to fall asleep easier, the starting air pressure can be temporarily set at a lower level than prescribed. Setting a lower "ramp" pressure is an easy process that can be repeated as often as required during the night.Instructions
