How to Program a REMstar C-Flex

Unpleasant and tiring, sleep apnea is a common problem in adults, with as many as 4 percent of men and 2 percent of women suffering from the condition. Shallow, or pauses in, breathing occur during sleep disrupting the normal sleep pattern. The result is daytime fatigue, poor concentration, memory problems, anxiety and headaches as well as increased risks of heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is an effective treatment that keeps the airway open during sleep, allowing the user to awake rested and revitalized. It can be up to 100 percent effective in relieving symptoms, but only when it is adjusted correctly. Achieve maximum benefit from your treatment by setting airflow pressure for your own needs.
