How Do I Reverse a Rotator Cuff Tear With Serrapeptase?
The rotator cuff is a series of four muscles surrounding the shoulder joint. Tears in the rotator cuff are caused by strenuous activity or repetitive movement resulting in the strain or separation of tendon from muscle. This can cause inflammation and pain when the shoulder is lifted or rotated in a specific direction. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons reports that 50 percent of patients are satisfied with nonsurgical treatment of their rotator cuff tears. One such treatment is with serrapeptase, an enzyme that reduces pain and inflammation. It is available over-the-counter or online without a prescription.Things You'll Need

1
Make an appointment with your family physician. While serrapeptase is available without a physician's prescriptions, it is always a good idea to consult your physician before beginning any new medication. Your physician can also assess your shoulder pain and determine if an orthopedist should consult on your condition.
-
2
Make an appointment with an orthopedist. This step is recommended, but optional. The orthopedist can determine if there are any significant causes for the rotator cuff tear that may require surgery, such as a bone spur or a tendon separation.
-
3
Discuss non-surgical treatment. If the orthopedist decides that your rotator cuff tear does not require surgery, ask your doctor about serrapeptase therapy. They may have prior experience with this treatment method and can suggest a particular brand, additional medications and/or schedule physical therapy to help enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.
-
4
Take serrapeptase according to the physician's instructions. Do not take more than the recommended dosage for the brand of serrapeptase purchased. Serrapeptase should be taken on an empty stomach at last 30 to 45 minutes before a meal.
