Instructions for Surround Floam Air Casts
Surround Floam Air Casts are designed with a flexible material that provides support over uneven surfaces. The cast is designed to fit snugly over your ankle bone without compromising support to a sprained ankle. The casts are also frequently used for elbow injuries.Instructions

1
Dress the injured limb. If it's your ankle, put your socks on; if it's an elbow make sure your sleeve falls properly.
-
2
Undo the straps on the air cast and slide it loosely into place over the injured limb. Adjust the placement so that it will "clamp" over the injured part of the limb and provide proper support. On the ankle brace, the stirrup should be at the back part of the heel so that the plastic braces stand perpendicular to the floor when the foot is at a 90-degree angle.

3
Pull the strap closest to the extremity by the loose end, wrapping it around the air cast, and secure it snugly to itself with the Velcro. Repeat with the upper strap. The fit should be firm enough to support the injured limb, but not so tight as to reduce circulation. If you feel tingling or if your hands or feet are abnormally cold, loosen the straps.
