Turn the the hand with the injured wrist so that the palm is facing upwards. Using a two-inch elastic compression bandage, place the beginning of the bandage one inch below the wrist on the side of the arm not facing you.

2
Make two full turns with the bandage around the wrist. The bandage should be on top of the area where you first placed the end of the bandage.
-
3
Draw the bandage up and across your open palm. Pull the bandage through the space between your thumb and forefinger (index finger) and down the backside.
-
4
Make one wrap around the wrist once more. Be sure to stagger the bandage so that each wrap is not directly over the previous wrap.

5
Pull the bandage up and across the palm and through the space between the thumb and forefinger.
-
6
Wrap the bandage around the wrist one final time.
-
7
Attach the bandage firmly in place with the two metal clasps. Be sure to keep the end of the bandage pulled tightly so that the bandage is not loosely attached.
