Can you develop after mild stroke?

While developmental delays can occur after a stroke in adults, they are rare compared to children. Strokes, especially in the left hemisphere of the brain, can affect language processing and cognitive skills. These can present as temporary word-finding difficulties or more permanent aphasia. However, overall developmental delays following a stroke in adulthood are not typically seen.
