How to Dissolve Ovarian Tumors

Ovarian tumors, or cysts, are a common problem among women. They often create feelings of anxiety or fear about ovarian cancer, but in reality the majority of cysts are benign and resolve on their own. Some cysts may require treatment from a doctor. The most common symptoms of an ovarian cyst are pressure or pain in the pelvic region.

Change your diet. Cut down on your carbohydrates and try to eliminate foods that are estrogren-rich, such as dairy products, non-organic red meat and tomatoes.

    • 2

Alter your menstrual cycle. Some doctors will prescribe birth control bills to help regulate your cycle and help your body correct itself. Birth control pills come with side effects, some severe, so they may not work for every woman.

Use hot castor oil packs. You can purchase castor oil packs from various sources or even make your own. Place the hot pack over your lower abdomen for about 45 minutes. You may want to use castor oil treatment on old sheets or blankets as the castor oil can stain fabric. The packs are generally reusable.

Your doctor may perform surgery. Some cysts are bothersome, or do not go away on their own need to be removed. Laparoscopic surgery is commonly used to remove cysts, but if cysts become abnormal, the entire ovary may need to be removed.
