Ocular Tumor Symptoms

An ocular tumor is a tumor that appears on the eye or around the eye area. Ocular tumors can lead to vision difficulties, blindness and loss of the eye itself. It is important to know the symptoms of an ocular tumor so that you can receive treatment as early as possible.
  1. Vision Problems

    • Vision can be blurry or warped, or there can be a vision loss in one or both eyes.

    Irritation

    • There can be irritation, such as redness, pain and itching, in or around the eye that may have a tumor.

    Eye Color

    • The iris in the eye that may have a tumor can change color. The color change in the affected eye will be noticeable and dramatically different than that of the healthy eye.

    Pressure

    • Pressure on and bulging of the eye affected by a tumor is often felt.

    Bleeding

    • Sometimes there can be bleeding in the eye, which is seen a a bright red spot or area inside the eyeball.
