Robinul Side Effects
Robinul is a prescription medication used to treat stomach ulcers and peptic ulcers. It is typically used in combination with other drugs to treat the stomach conditions. Robinul is classified as an anticholinergic medication that works by slowing down the stomach and intestine's production of stomach acid. Robinul is typically taken orally in pill form and can be taken with or without food. In some cases, Robinul can be given to patients about to undergo surgery with anesthetic drugs. In these cases, the medication is given in injection form. Robinul is a brand-name drug. In its generic form, it is glycopyrrolate.-

The most commonly reported side effects of Robinul are blurred vision, headaches, sleeplessness, nervousness, dizziness, drowsiness, a feeling of being bloated, constipation, loss of taste, less sweating than usual, dry skin, dry mouth, enlarged pupils and decreased milk production. None of these side effects is cause for concern, but notify your doctor if they become bothersome.
Serious Side Effects

In rare cases, some people taking Robinul may experience side effects that indicate a potential problem that may require treatment. Stop taking the medication and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following: seizures, confusion, fainting, unusual weakness, difficulty focusing the eyes, impotence, a pounding feeling in the chest, a fast or irregular heartbeat, diarrhea, difficulty urinating and vomiting.
Allergic Reactions

Like all medications, in rare cases patients taking Robinul may experience an allergic reaction to an ingredient in the medication. Signs of an allergic reaction include wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, hives and swelling of the face, tongue, throat, mouth or lips. People experiencing a severe allergic reaction can go into shock and lose consciousness, so be sure to seek medical help immediately if you experience any of the signs.

Robinul may not be safe for all people, including those with myasthenia gravis; glaucoma; some stomach, esophagus and bowel conditions; and heart conditions that are caused by bleeding. Additionally, some people with nerve, prostate, liver and kidney problems should not use Robinul. Be sure to discuss your complete medical history with your doctor before taking Robinul.
