Vinegar Remedies to Cure a Stomach Ulcer
When treating a stomach ulcer, vinegar would seem like a very unlikely candidate because of its acidity. It's popular to use in salads and in certain types of foods, but many people overlook it when it comes to home remedies and treatments. In truth, you can use this extremely healthy fluid to treat a stomach ulcer naturally.-
Finding the Cause
-
If you experience stomach pain after a meal but don't know for sure whether a peptic ulcer or stomach is causing the problem, take 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar straight. If the pain dissipates, you probably have too little stomach acid; if the pain becomes worse, you likely have too much. In the latter case, neutralize the stomach acid naturally by drinking a mixture of 1 tsp. baking soda and 8 oz. water.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Supplements
-
An acquired taste, apple cider vinegar has an extremely strong flavor. You'll eventually become used to drinking it, just as if you were drinking soda or alcohol, and may even come to enjoy the taste of it. Add 1 to 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar to 16 oz. fresh water. Drink this mixture several times throughout the day or in place of plain water (up to 64 oz.) if the test in Section 1 indicates that you have too little stomach acid.
In addition to using apple cider vinegar to both determine and cure your stomach problem, take Omega 3 and other nutritional supplements to help protect your stomach lining and aid the digestive track in working properly. Use oak bark and yarrow to treat stomach inflammation and ulcers.
