Tumors & Frequent Urination

Frequent urination is not an illness in itself, but rather a symptom of a wide variety of possible conditions. Frequent urination can be described as having to go to the bathroom so much that it begins to disrupt your life.
  1. Tumors

    • Tumors located in the bladder and prostate can cause you to experience frequent urination. This is usually the earliest symptom of a tumor located in one of these two organs.

    Bladder Cancer

    • Bladder cancer is sometimes responsible for frequent urination. Tumors caused by cancer cells in the bladder take up space and cause bleeding, which leads to frequent urination.

    Prostate

    • Tumors located in the prostate can also cause frequent urination. The tumors located in the prostate have the same effect as tumors located in the bladder. They both take up space and lead to frequent urination.

    Prevention/Solution

    • If you are experiencing frequent urination, you should immediately seek medical attention. Frequent urination, as said before, is a symptom of a wide variety of conditions. Early diagnosis can help to effectively treat more serious conditions such as tumors located in the bladder and prostate.

    Fun Fact

    • The bladder can hold up to two-and-a-half cups of urine at a time, but the urge to urinate is usually felt when the bladder contains just over a half cup.
