How to Kill a UTI

A urinary tract infection (UTI) occurs when bacteria is present in the urethra. In men, the urinary tract infection can be a result of a kidney stone or enlarged prostate and the infection itself can be present in the prostate. The infection is typically painful for men and women and symptoms include frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating, cloudy urine, and lower back pain. For severe infections, an antibiotic is needed. However, some infections are able to be cured at home if treatment begins at the onset of symptoms. (See References 2)
