Urinary Symptoms

An inability to urinate or not having an urge to urinate are signs of a potential complication. If you notice this side effect or have bloody or cloudy urine or pain or a burning sensation while urinating after starting to take Enablex, stop taking it and report it to your doctor immediately.
Neurological Symptoms

Blurred vision and dizziness are known side effects of Enablex, but they are no cause for concern. However, if you have hallucinations, begin to be confused or have severe or unusual headaches, you should report it to your doctor.
Flu-like Symptoms

Flu-like symptoms can be a side effect of Enablex, and they are usually not serious. However, if you have a persistent fever or chills it could indicate a potential complication and needs to be reported to your doctor.
Gastrointestinal Symptoms

Some people taking Enablex will begin to experience diarrhea or constipation, nausea or stomach pain as a result of the medication. These side effects are no cause for concern.
Other Serious Side Effects

Heart palpitations or an irregular heartbeat, back pain or pain near or below the ribcage while taking Enablex all can be a sign of a more serious problem that has developed as a result of taking the medicine. Any of these symptoms should be reported to your doctor.
