Are many new viruses assembled in the lytic or lysogenic cycle?

Many new viruses are assembled in the lytic cycle. In the lytic cycle, the viral DNA is injected into the host cell, and the viral genes are transcribed and translated. The new viral proteins are then used to assemble new virions, which are released from the cell by lysing the cell. In contrast, in the lysogenic cycle, the viral DNA is integrated into the host cell's chromosome, and the virus remains dormant until it is reactivated.
