What is arbovirus encephalitis?

Arbovirus encephalitis is a mosquito-borne disease of the brain and spinal cord in which the disease is spread to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito that contains arbovirus. Mosquitoes can become infected when they feed on infected vertebrate animals (typically birds).
