Home Remedies for Plantars Warts

Duct Tape
-
Plantar warts can be removed easily and inexpensively with duct tape. Clean the afflicted area thoroughly with antibacterial soap and dry it carefully. Cut a piece of duct tape that covers the afflicted area and overlaps at least one inch on each side. Place the piece of duct tape directly over the warts. Leave the tape on for one week, then remove the tape. The warts should peel off with the tape. If not, place another piece of tape in the same place and leave on for one more week and peel off again.
Apple Cider Vinegar
-
Mix one part apple cider vinegar and one part water in a large plastic dish. Seal it and leave the dish in the bathroom. Before you shower, open the dish and place it on your bath mat. When you get out of the shower, dip your foot in the apple cider vinegar and soak it for approximately one minute. Dry your foot off but do not rinse. Repeat every day as you get out of the shower. Eventually, the wart will diminish in size, then disappear completely.
Wait It Out
-
The average life cycle of a wart is between one and two years, so if you have already had your wart for close to a year, it may not be worth the time and money to get it removed especially by a doctor. Warts are not usually itchy or painful, and they do not create any additional medical problems, so there is no harm in waiting for your wart to disappear on its own.
