How to Cure Foot Odor Naturally and Fast

Smelly feet is generally caused by excessive sweating and bacterial overgrowth. Essentially, foot odor is just another type of body odor. Cure foot odor quickly with these natural home remedies.

      Throw away all your old sneakers. Sneakers have thick insoles that harbor bacteria that may cause foot odor.

      If you want to try to save your sneakers, washing them in hot water with laundry detergent (several times may do the trick but not always). Be sure to dry them in the dryer or in the hot sun and do not let them stay moist. Bacteria will thrive in a moist environment.

      Soak your feet in warm strong tea for about 20 minutes (preferably at night) and dry them well. Many report that the tannic acid in the tea actually neutralizes odor.

      Wash your feet with antibacterial soap and water in the morning and dry them well.

      Avoid wearing synthetic socks and stockings. Cotton socks are a much better option. Synthetic socks and stockings will cause your feet to sweat and retain moisture which will cause bad foot odor.
