Types of Warts in the Mouth

Warts in the mouth (oral warts) are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). They can be contracted by participation in oral sex, kissing and poor hygiene. They are more common in individuals with compromised immune systems, such as those with HIV/AIDS.
