Consider waiting for the molluscum warts to go away on their own. In most people, they resolve themselves within a year or two. If the warts aren't painful or uncomfortable and aren't on the face, no medical treatment is necessary.

Try natural remedies. Some of these include colloidal silver, olive leaf extract and zell oxygen. Talk to a naturopath or herbalist about the proper use of these remedies.

Ask your doctor about medication. Some wart-removal medications are effective against molluscum warts; others are not. If you experience itching or irritation around the warts, use hydrocortisone cream on the itchy areas. Hydrocortisone won't remove or treat the warts themselves.

Consider other wart removal techniques such as freezing, burning, scraping or laser removal. A doctor or a plastic surgeon will numb the area with a local anesthetic before treating the molluscum with these methods.
