Instructions

Scratch the surface of the skin tag with an emery board or pumice stone. Don't scratch until you bleed, but scratch hard enough that the DermaTend can soak into the skin tag. Be careful to avoid scratching the healthy skin around the skin tag.

Cleanse the area with soap and hot water. This will help open the pores of your skin so the DermaTend can penetrate. After you have cleansed the area, dry it thoroughly with a towel. Any remaining water will block the DermaTend from soaking into the skin tag.

Take the cap off the DermaTend tube. Remove the seal, replace the cap, and massage the DermaTend tube, to ensure it's mixed well. After massaging the tube, remove the cap again and squeeze a tiny amount of DermaTend on your finger. Rub the DermaTend into the skin tag. Avoid getting it on the healthy skin surrounding the skin tag. If you would like, to protect the healthy skin, you can rub the DermTend healing balm on the skin surrounding the skin tag.

Wait for 20 to 30 minutes after application for the medicine to work. You should feel a stinging sensation. If your skin does not sting some then the medicine is not working and you will need to re-scratch the surface. Some redness around the skin tag is normal. The stinging sensation should last no longer than ten minutes. Wash the area again with hot water and soap.

Apply a bandage over the skin tag and wait for a scab to form. If a scab does not form within 24 hours, you will need to repeat all the above steps until a scab does form. When the scab forms, do not pull it off. Allow it to fall off naturally in order to avoid scarring.
