Instructions

1
Drink lots of hydrating fluids. This includes water and juices. Nose dryness can be a symptom of dehydration. While proper hydration alone may not completely cure nose dryness, it does help keep your nose moist.
-
2
Spray a saline solution into each nostril a couple times a day. This provides direct moisture to the most dry parts of the inside of your nose.
-
3
Rub petroleum jelly on the dry spots twice a day. Use your finger to rub it on the outside of the nostrils or a cotton swab to rub it around the inside of each nostril.
-
4
Buy a water vaporizer or humidifier for your house. Living in a dry environment can dry out your nose. A humidifier will add the moisture that your noes needs back into your living space.
-
5
Ask your doctor if any of your medication could be causing a dry nose. If so, your doctor may be able to change your medication to avoid the side effect.
